Co-developed and published by Niantic and WB Games San Francisco, under the Portkey Games label, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite invites players to view the real world through a Wizarding World lens, via your smartphone. Innovation in Augmented Reality (AR) allows game players to view and interact with the same AR at the same time and take actions within this AR that impact each other's game play. So, brush up on your spells, get your wand ready, and learn how this new, immersive AR gaming experience was created.

Jonathan Knight


Vice President and Studio Head at WB Games San Francisco

Jonathan Knight is Vice President and Studio Head at WB Games San Francisco, overseeing the upcoming augmented reality (AR) game, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. Blending his affinity for code with a passion for the theatre arts, Jonathan has worked on numerous iconic titles including The Sims, The Simpsons Game, Star Trek, Words With Friends, FarmVille and more. The games he has delivered across console, PC and mobile platforms have generated more than $2B in combined lifetime revenue. As a veteran of the gaming industry, Jonathan has also served in executive roles at Electronic Arts, Activision and Zynga.

Mary Casey


Executive Director of Product at WB Games San Francisco, BAFTA-nominated Game Producer

Mary Casey is Executive Director of Product at WB Games San Francisco and a BAFTA-nominated Game Producer. She currently leads the team to drive game development and creative design for the upcoming augmented reality (AR) game, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. Prior to WB Games, Mary served as Studio Head for SEGA Networks’ Three Rings Design, working on the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. She has also held pivotal roles at Activision, Mediatonic, Mind Candy and Disney, with credits including the record-breaking title Moshi Monsters: Moshling Zoo, Amateur Surgeon, Foul Play and Pure.

Archit Bhargava


Director of Worldwide Product Marketing at Niantic

Archit Bhargava is the Director of Worldwide Product Marketing at Niantic. He has led the marketing strategy, product launches and user growth for all Niantic products including Ingress, Field Trip, Pokémon GO and the upcoming Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. He led the worldwide launch of Pokémon GO which has surpassed 1 billion global downloads, and broken several app launch and engagement records. Archit was the first marketing hire at Niantic when he joined Niantic Labs at Google in 2011 to manage the marketing strategy and tactical execution for Niantic Labs' products.

Alex Moffit


Producer, Niantic

Alex Moffit is a Producer at Niantic working on the development and live service operations for the real-world mobile game, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. Prior to Niantic, Alex worked in product management at startups focused on workplace productivity, digital health, and fitness. Alex graduated from Yale University with a B.S. in Psychology and Neuroscience.
