AT&T FILM AWARDS: Compete for a Share of $60K in Cash Prizes and a Trip to Hollywood in June
Lights, Camera, Action!
The 2018 AT&T Film Awards is now open for submissions. If you’ve recently wrapped a short film and are looking for exposure, we want to help bring your passion project to life. There is no fee to enter, and we’re accepting submissions until April 15th, or once we reach 1,500 submissions, whichever comes first.
Now in its 4th edition of the competition, we’re placing the spotlight on aspiring and underrepresented storytellers, and are seeking short films – under 10 minutes – from creators utilizing innovative and emerging filmmaking technologies such as 360 cinematic video, films shot on mobile, and CGI/animated shorts.
ABOUT THE AT&T FILM AWARDS
The AT&T Film Awards is an open competition seeking imaginative, undiscovered short films from aspiring creators who want their voices heard. We are supporting and rewarding excellence in filmmaking with $60,000 in cash prizes, exposure, and a chance to take home the coveted AT&T Film Awards trophy during the finals on June 2, 2018 in Los Angeles.
We will showcase the finalists’ shorts during AT&T SHAPE, a tech and entertainment expo, held at Warner Bros. Studios on the weekend of June 2-3, 2018. The top three finalists in the Emerging Filmmaker category will have their films screened at in front of a live audience, who will help select the winner. Finalists will also share the stage with the AT&T Film Awards’ co-host, who will be announced in the coming weeks (our 2017 co-host was Patty Jenkins, director of Wonder Woman).
